Head of HR 4 days

4 day a week Head of HR - Insurance

We are looking for an accomplished CIPD qualified HR Generalist who has prior experience of working within Insurance, to join an international insurance firm of 500 globally (c150 in London). Leading and developing an HR team of 2 and reporting to the CEO, you will have demonstrable HR Business Partnering experience, driving change and influencing senior stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities & Skills:

  • Deliver best practice HR services for London, establishing guidelines as required for the international offices
  • Deliver a full HR service including recruitment, payroll, legislation, policy and procedures, learning & development
  • Advise senior management on HR issues to resolve to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Support the HR team on all day-to-day issues and in the implementation and completion of HR projects (such as employee engagement)
  • Chair the Benefits Committee; fully participating
  • Support and assist Trustees of the Pension Scheme to deliver legal obligation and on future projects
  • Prepare reports for the Board to advise on changes in legislation and new initiatives
  • Actively participate in the annual renewals of policies relating to staff benefits
  • Handle the recruitment process for all vacancies, liaising with heads of divisions and agencies, ensuring the recruitment process is carried out in line with company policies and annual budget
