Training Project Manager

Your new company
My client leading insurance firm located in the City of London are on the search for an experienced Training project manager to join their L&D Projects team covering all projects under the COO e.g. business processes, IT systems, regulatory projects.

Your new role
The successful candidate will provide expertise in training delivery and related subjects, managing and documenting the full lifecycle from needs analysis through to execution of whatever an assignment requires (i.e. classroom, system training, presentations etc.). Works with stakeholders to help them understand the importance of training as part of any change to secure quality end outcomes. Dependent on portfolio and workloads, from time to time, the role will be very comfortable 'rolling up sleeves' and taking on non-training assignments within the Business Project Management and Change team i.e. project managing small/medium business projects or initiatives, undertaking analysis etc.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in undertaking a professional training role, preferably within a financial services - insurance environment Demonstrate and evidence practitioner level experience of managing initiatives through the full lifecycle of training delivery Demonstrate practitioner level experience of delivering end user training (classroom, presentation, manuals, guides etc.), familiarity with creating/delivering e-training desirable Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and 'get stuck in' Must have excellent ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to executive audiences Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and change Excellent follow-up skills and attention to details Ability to meet tight deadlines for deliverables Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required One or more of the following qualifications desirable; PMP, Prince2, Change Management Role may feature a limited amount of travel dependent on assignment
