An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional with previous recruitment/talent experience to join our Weybridge client. This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Ideally 5 days per week however may consider 4 days per week. It is envisaged that the role will be split 70% talent and recruitment with a 30% split for HR generalist activities. It is essential that candidates have previous 360 recruitment experience including conducting competency based interviews. Previous HR experience is ideal however not essential and my client is willing to train in this area.
The role holder will be supporting a HR generalist service to the UK market and supporting hosted functions alongside their global HR team. This will include recruitment and selection, providing an advisory service on employee relations matters ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies, managing the occupational health referral process and ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Working within a team of 4 in the talent team you will support HR Managers with their recruitment requirements for their business areas. This will include drafting internal adverts, shortlisting CV's, advising and coaching line managers on interviewing techniques, devising interview plans, arranging and conducting interviews and assessments, providing feedback and drafting and publishing appointment announcements.
You will work closely with agencies and manage relationships ensuring the organisation are using the best sourcing methods. Regularly promote the employee referral scheme. Manage the recruitment inboxes and respond to job enquiries and referrals. Ensure the recruitment summary and e-recruitment system is updated.
Respond to HR queries from employees and Line Managers, referring to HR Managers where relevant, advising on HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with employment law. Support the HR Manager with any administration in connection with dismissals, redundancies, grievances or disciplinaries to include taking minutes, drafting letters and Settlement Agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures. Liaise with the outplacement provider where necessary and ensure all PR's are raised in relation to this. Hold onboarding and end of probation meetings with employees and new starters and highlight any concerns/trends to the HR Manager in the first instance.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous recruitment/talent experience in a 360 role, competency based interviewing skills.
Ideally some previous generalist HR experience
Ideally CIPD qualification, although not essential
What you'll get in return
Base salary £32,000 - £37,000
Company bonus - 10% of annual basic salary (based on Company performance)
