Standalone HR Manager, £60,000
London
My client, a global and collaborative Consultancy are currently seeking a strategic and hands on Standalone HR Manager to join the team in London. This is a role that you can really make your own and help deliver an effective, proactive and flexible HR service.
Key responsibilities:
Recruitment
Provide advice to managers on the recruitment and selection process.
Coordinate interviews, as required by line managers, and assist with the selection process.
Provide administrative support from offer stage to start date.
Source and liaise with suitable referencing agency providing feedback to line managers.
Employee Life Cycle
Manage the administration of the full employee life cycle including new starter instructions, inductions, probationary reviews, appraisals, training & development, acceptance of resignation and exit interviews.
Advise managers on terms and conditions of employment and share best practise with them.
Investigate proposed changes to terms and conditions and the implications for the workforce.
Absence Management
Provide administrative assistance to the absence monitoring and return to work processes.
Conduct regular absence audits to monitor compliance with absence procedures.
Proactively assist line managers in addressing employee absence issues, advising on long term sick absences where necessary
Payroll
Ensure the monthly payroll report is delivered to the Finance Department in a timely fashion.
HR Policies and Procedures
Provide advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures.
Continuously monitor and manage feedback on the effectiveness of HR policies recommending revisions where necessary.
Employment Casework
Manage employee relations casework such as dispute resolution, grievances, retirement and redundancy ensuring compliance with policy, legislative requirements and best practice.
Lead on the management of casework relating to sickness absence, including the administration of the Sick Scheme Committee
Benefits
Liaising with the finance department where necessary, manage Company Benefit
Schemes such as private health care, pensions, car scheme etc.
Employee Engagement and Training
Deliver positive and effective communications and training programme on HR policies and procedures.
Proactively seek out initiatives which contribute to the improvement in culture, engagement and retention
