HR Advisor - Banking

An international bank with Headquarters in London are currently searching for an HR Advisor to join their team. Supporting the HRBP team as an Advisor, you will be looking at strategy, policy, best practice along with projects. As the HR Advisor, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Acting as HR Advisor supporting the HR BP team

  • Acting as a linking pin between Admin HR team and the BP's

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for various cross entity projects

  • Providing Managers with HR policy and process advice, escalating to BP team where necessary

  • Building/sustaining effective working relationships with the business

  • Assisting with the implementation of HR deliverables and interventions required to deliver the client group's business plan

  • Assisting with Identification of people practices and initiatives to support business aims and culture ensuring alignment with best practice

  • Working in partnership with the business and HR colleagues to ensure delivery of services in line with HR strategy and business strategies

  • Facilitating development of a high performance culture and building organisational capability within the business

  • Supporting talent activities; identifying development and training needs

  • Responsible for the recruitment of permanent and temporary staff

  • Ensuring Performance Management process is implemented and followed

  • Conducting basic disciplinary and grievance meetings

  • Support and embed L&D and OD initiatives

  • Assist in annual salary review and bonus process, where appropriate

As the HR advisor, you will possess:

  • CIPD

  • Good knowledge of employment law related matters

  • Strong customer focus

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Relevant HR experience
