Employee Relations Manager, Financial services, London, £80k

My Client, a leading financial services firm, is looking for an Employee Relations Manager for a 12 month FTC. Working closely with the senior leadership team on a daily basis, this role requires intellectual gravitas and credibility.

Dealing with complex ER issues, this role requires a pragmatic approach and strong knowledge of employment law. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Development and delivery of a robust ER and performance strategy which is aligned with the people priorities
  • Input to the performance strategy in establishing and promoting a progressive culture in order to achieve highest levels of business performance
  • Develop and deploy the ER strategy with the HR team and business to support major change initiatives, such as restructuring
  • Communicate and ensure understanding by managers and employees of relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies and answer non-standard questions by managers and employees as needed
  • Partner with internal and external counsel to prepare for and, when necessary, attend mediations, arbitration, and other court proceedings such as Tribunals

This is an exciting role and opportunity to work with some of the best people in the finance industry, candidates with strong educational backgrounds are preferred, (CIPD required).
