BP has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our domestic mobility team in Sunbury, London. This full-time maternity cover role would suit someone who thrives in a busy working environment. The role is to assist and advise HR and employees on all aspects of domestic mobility and policies. The successful person will work in partnership with the selected vendors to deliver a seamless relocation service.

Key AccountabilitiesKey Elements
Liaise with HR and Relocating Employees
  • Provide advice and guidance to HR and employees on both Domestic and Permanent International mobility policies
  • Provide explanation and interpretation of the mobility policies
  • Assist the Senior Advisor to answer policy queries and complex case scenarios
  • Investigate and summarise previous case history for HR and Senior Advisor
  • Demonstrate advantages to HR on cost strategy/savings
  • Problem solving
  • Deputise for the Senior Mobility Advisor
  • Brief employees on the mobility policy (if required) including calculating Mortgage Assistant Payments
  • Check eligibility for relocation via supplier and advise HR on findings

Domestic Mobility Reporting to HRVPs
  • Responsible for accurate Quarterly Mobility Reporting
  • Identity trends and provide strategy and information to HRBPs
  • Prepare Executive Summary for HRLT using marketing data and analysis
  • Summarise actions required on Functional reports on a quarterly basis to the business

Partner with Vendors
  • Maintain regular contact with selected vendor
  • Build strong relationship with vendor
  • Answer day to day case queries from vendor
  • Attend weekly conference calls and offsite meeting as and when required

Manage Data
  • Keep all domestic policies up to date
  • Update web based policies and information
  • File all case related documents
  • Produce Cost Estimates for the business
  • Instruct and manage UK payroll queries
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Act as first point of contact for invoicing queries
  • Code invoices

Case Management
  • Manage and prioritise own work load
  • Escalate to Senior Advisor and suggest solutions on cases where not resolved

Exception Management
  • Review exception requests and manage the exception process
  • Investigate previous case history to determine any precedent setting
  • Calculate the cost of the exception and any impact on the business
  • Make recommendations to IM Leadership team based on findings

  • Good communicative skills both written and oral
  • Able to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship management skills and working with a client and key stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
  • High level of organised and structured approach to work

  • Instruct Tax Advice

  • Ideally educated to a minimum of "A" Level/Degree standard

  • Strong experience in mobility
  • Excel and Word to high standard
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Experience of SAP HR
