My client is a leading providers of care homes offering residential, nursing and dementia care and they are on the lookout for a Regional Employee Relations Officer to join their team. Given the nature of my client's operations it is essential that you hold a valid driving license and are happy with regional travel. This role can be home based.
The role will hold the following responsibilities:
Providing an independent investigations services for all the Care Homes and Head Office teams that includes complaints, allegations and misconduct issues from residents, relatives and/or staff.
Interviewing all key stakeholders and producing a detailed report of facts and data with appropriate recommendations for consideration by the relevant manager/ director.
To provide guidance to managers on how they should manage internal investigations that are of a general misconduct nature.
This role will require an empathetic and professional candidate who is able to work to tight deadlines and ensure that work is accurate and to a high standard. Applicants should have:
Experience of working with HR related issues and across a various of different departments
Knowledge of UK/EU Employment Law
Disciplinary, Capability and Grievance Policies
Data Protection Act
CQC and CCSIW requirements
To be able to work independently and will be able to manage their own workload.
