Role: Learning and Development Manager

Industry: Transport and Rail

Location: Central London.

My client, a leading transport and travel business and are looking for a interim L&D professional to join their team whilst they recruit for the role permanently. You will join them in their Central London office in what can only be described at a very exciting time. The role is part of the HR Senior management team and is therefore responsible for senior stakeholder engagement and management.

Duties will include:

  • Agreeing deliverables and ensuring projects are completed timely.

  • To contribute to setting up and running an apprenticeship scheme

  • Deliver management development training to managers across the business

  • To develop and help managers meet business needs, ensuring they have access to the development they need.

  • To develop and deliver the learning and development strategy within the business that supports the business strategy.

  • Working with other L&D managers within the group to define and implement effective training for the business as a whole.

We are looking for someone with an experienced interim with a depth of experience in L&D across a variety of sectors. You should have an eye for detail, lots of drive, good sense of humour and enjoy working in a project capacity.
