My client, a leading retail brand, are looking for an immediately available Learning & Development Advisor to assist the implementation of a new LMS platform along with some support for the delivery of the training programme for 6-8 weeks. The purpose of the Learning & Development Advisor is to support the design and delivery of the people strategy to develop, retain and enhance performance capability.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the implementation of a new LMS platform by providing functional and technical system support including system administration, process implementation, troubleshooting, testing, reference guide creation and reporting.

  • Support the Head of Learning and Development

  • Ensure the delivery of high quality learning initiatives.

  • Develop new and innovative methods of delivery, relevant to the needs of our people and using the latest technology.

  • Develop in-house programmes reference guides and assessment tools as appropriate.

  • Consistently improve the Learning & Development processes and quality by gathering feedback, monitoring effectiveness, participant performance and impact.

  • Work with the HR and Talent Acquisition Team to run a robust induction process, creating a 'welcome culture' to support the integration of our new hires.

  • Working with regional HR teams to source quality external providers research to support development in local languages.

  • Support Leadership Development training and platforms.

  • Ad hoc admin and project support as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Previous experience in learning & development/talent programmes.

  • Experience working with Cloud Based LMS systems

  • Collaborative, stakeholder management skills, excellent influencing and communication skills.

  • Good computer literacy in Microsoft applications (Excel, Power point, Word), ability to navigate and use of software

  • Exposure to a multinational working environment

  • Experience in setting up of self-services online training & development tools

  • Strong planning and project management skills

  • Creative with a desire to shape innovative learning solutions.
