My client, a leading transport company, are looking to appoint an L&D Advisor to join their team on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity. The role will report into the L&D Manager and have responsibility for 2 graduates. You will be responsible for contributing to the development, retention and enhancement of performance capability to support the achievement of the business goals.
Develop and deliver the Learning & Development strategy.
Ensure the delivery of high quality learning initiatives.
Develop new and innovative methods of delivery, relevant to the needs of our people and using the latest technology.
Develop in-house programmes reference guides and assessment tools.
Consistently improve the Learning & Development processes and quality by gathering feedback, monitoring effectiveness, participant performance and impact.
Work with the HR and Resourcing Team to design a robust induction process, creating a 'welcome culture' to support the integration of our new hires.
Create and communicate the training calendar for the year.
Knowledge and Skills Required
3 years experience in learning & development/talent programmes.
Experience in curriculum development, facilitation of training programmes and coaching.
Collaborative, stakeholder management skills, excellent influencing and communication skills.
Good computer literacy in Microsoft applications (Excel, Power point, Word), ability to navigate and use of software
Exposure to a multinational working environment
Experience in setting up of self-services online training & development tools
Strong planning and project management skills
Creative with a desire to shape innovative learning solutions.
