Oakleaf are delighted to be working with this highly successful and growing construction business in their search for an exceptional Learning and Development Partner.
As an experienced Learning and Development Partner seeking your next progressive career step, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to establish this new created role through the development of strong strategic partnerships with your key stakeholders and their teams and the delivery of an exceptional L&D service to the business. This role really needs a self-starting and self-motivated individual who thrives on being visible, building relationships, driving proactive solutions and delivering results.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a professionally qualified L&D professional with previous experience working as an L&D Partner, ideally within in a matrix reporting structure. Your experience to date will also include:
Supporting Early Careers employees (including Apprentices and Graduates), Managers and the wider workforce.
Planning, designing and delivering a selection of learning interventions in line with learning needs identified.
Co-ordinating the delivery and evaluation of external solutions in line with learning needs identified.
Proactively partnering with business, highlighting areas for improvement and making suggestions for action to improve employee engagement, retention and performance.
Supporting and collaborating with HR Business Partner colleagues to contribute to the development of culture, employee engagement and people development and management.
Managing, reporting and analysis of learning data to identify development opportunities and key areas of focus.
Handling status reporting on L&D projects, stakeholder communication including regular stakeholder meetings.
Keeping abreast of learning advancements and best practice, sharing with the L&D team and identifying opportunities to innovate and evolve current processes and practice and continuously improve the L&D service.
Whilst previous experience of working in the construction sector or a similar multi-site environment would be helpful, you'll be joining a high performing HR team whose backgrounds span a wide range of industries. Far more important will be your ability to adapt well into this ambitious business as a natural relationship builder with strong business acumen and conscience, a pragmatic and flexible approach to rolling up your sleeves and a passion for providing exceptional service and results.
Please note this role requires you to support a regionally dispersed business and will require regular attendance at multiple locations within the M25 area.
