Oakleaf Partnership are currently partnering with a well known children's charity who are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team on a 4 month FTC basis. This newly created position will focus on supporting the current key HR and People Change projects including embedding people policies. You will also be responsible for translating people plan into operational systems and processes.
To work with the Assistant Director, HR and People Change, in the development of key people policies, ensuring that they are embedded within the organisation.
To participate in and implement complex cross organisational project teams involved in innovation and improvement, including the development and promotion of new HR policy, procedures and training.
To lead policy development research, planning, influencing and embedding.
To forge close working relationships with managers so that the projects are successfully embedded
To prepare logical, well-argued and coherent reports with clear HR analysis and recommendations as required.
To provide a coaching and support service for managers providing a consistently high quality advice, guidance and support, in developing and progressing people management solutions to achieve business objectives
Utilise HR management information and workforce planning data to identify people management requirements and performance issues and to resolve them, and establish credibility as an expert in strategic HR within the organisation
Coach, support, and challenge the People and Learning team and managers to be the best they can be to inspire excellence in their own and their staff performance.
To deliver a continuous innovation and improvement approach towards the delivery of different HR solutions.
If required to provide day to day operational guidance to managers on the application of HR policies and practices, providing professional advice and support complex HR issues and casework, including performance management; disputes, disciplinary and appeal hearings
To be successful for this position you should have experience within a business partner role in a busy HR team. You should have experience in HR projects including policy development and implementation. You should be able to also advise on complex HR issues including ER cases.
