Client Details

  • Create, implement and monitor a framework of HR policies and practices across the Group to ensure the business is up to date with best practice requirements and legally compliant (particularly with GDPR approaching)
  • Ensure the professional standards and values are reflected consistently in all people interventions and processes
  • To create and implement effecting on-boarding and off-boarding processes
  • Work proactively with the marketing/brand teams to ensure a consistent and informative internal communications policy is implemented and maintained
  • Ensure that HR policy, practice and procedure is understood and implemented throughout the Company
  • Advising on employment law
  • Review and redevelop (where appropriate) the performance management and development processes and ensure they are used effectively
  • Attend management meetings each month to provide an update on HR matters, activities and initiatives
  • Assist the management team to develop short and long term people plans in line with the business strategy
  • Ensure planned and ad hoc recruitment needs are met through a professional, consistent and effective recruitment, selection and induction process that secures the best talent to drive the business forward
  • Propose and manage an annual training plan and budget, ensuring the programmes and services delivered to the Company are appropriate and value added
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures


Experience as an established HR Manager, People Manager or Senior HR Generalist

Standalone experience desirable but not essential

CIPD Qualified

Ability to apply HR and employment law knowledge both practically and strategically

Experience in the hospitality industry desirable but not essential
