HR Business Advisor

Generalist HR Business Partners with excellent projects and restructuring experience are required for a leading global financial services organisation. The HR Business Advisors will interact with key senior stakeholders within front office, providing) advice on people issues, culture change, and relevant HR interventions. You will support delivery of the HR strategy and core programmes, plus coach managers in leading global/regional teams,

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering organisational change through advising on restructuring, severance programs, near shoring etc, whilst maximizing opportunities for the redeployment of talent

  • Supporting managers and impacted employees through the consultation period

  • Training /developing actions, promoting and enabling greater career mobility

  • Working with Management Information (MI) to interpret, share, and act on reporting information/analytics on headcount, diversity, turnover etc to support and drive effective divisional business decision making

  • Advising, training and supporting managers on Employee Relations issues

  • Supporting managers to determine resource requirements and make resourcing decisions

  • Helping managers create an environment that is conducive to employee engagement

  • Supporting managers to drive organisational development in their teams

  • Implementing talent management processes, and supporting managers in developing their people


  • Broad HR business partner experiences with exposure to operating in large matrix organisations

  • Experience of managing restructuring consultations

  • Good employment law knowledge

  • Strong execution skills

  • Strong client/business acumen

  • Attention to detail

  • Understanding of TUPE legislation
