With a turnover in excess of £1.5 billion and a payroll of close to 16,000 partners and staff across UK offices, our Finance team covers a huge spectrum of work. It spans everything from being closely involved in supporting the organisation's business strategy to tightly managing critical business functions like employee payroll, expenses, accounts payable and billing.

KPMG provides Audit, Tax and Advisory services to its clients supported by a Central Services function. Within Central Services, the firm has an established Procurement function resourced with qualified procurement professionals responsible for supporting the firm’s £400m+ expenditure on bought-in goods & services. The Procurement function‘s objectives are:
Overview of the Position / Key Responsibilities
Procurement’s sourcing activities are managed by category teams; Facilities, HR & Professional Services, Marketing, Technology and Travel. Each category team is made up of category-specialist procurement professionals led by a Category Manager, each reporting to the Head of Procurement.
The Procurement function is entering an exciting period of transformation and growth and has the support of senior executives to design, build and implement a P2P system across the UK firm. Currently there is no firm-wide requisition or PO system so this will be a great step forward in being able to influence, demand channel and manage spend.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will support the contract enablement activities associated with the P2P implementation and will work across a number of categories of spend. They will be required to support the existing category resources and their activities will be varied and will include contract amendments/variations, tenders, catalogue creation and supporting general implementation activities. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
