Reward Analyst

Metropolitan is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and care and support services. We employ over 1,600 people to manage and develop our portfolio of 38,000 homes serving nearly 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands and the East of England.

We are recruiting a Reward Analyst who will have overall responsibility to provide analytical support during compensation activities such as job evaluation job mapping and grading structures, salary benchmarking and survey submissions. Supporting the Reward Manager through the provision of expert analysis and insight, and through efficient and accurate management of reward processes with a focus on compensation elements and providing analysis and modelling to support annual pay review and bonus process.

You will possess a proven track record of managing a grading framework with recent working knowledge of key reward initiatives. Technically you will be IT literate, comfortable with MS programmes and able to interpret financial and systems data.

You will have a strong sense of stakeholder awareness and be able to build quality relationships and rapport with our internal customers and lead on job evaluation panel meetings to review and grade jobs.. You will possess enhanced verbal and written communication skills as well as strong Word, Excel, and database skills including knowledge of Outlook.

Key skills and experience required

Strong analytical skills and ability to provide relevant data and modelling to support decisions including analysing data and drawing conclusions.
MS Office skills with advanced level Excel (pivot tables / look up, IF statements).
Highly numerate individual with previous experience in supporting compensation processes, experience in Job evaluation, job matching, salary survey submission and benchmarking tools.
Experience in HR systems (Oracle a plus)
Strong planning and organisation skills and work to a high degree of accuracy.
Solutions orientated mindset, able to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Educated to degree level or equivalent level experience
An awareness of the wider HR and how this links to reward processes
