HR Manager - global digital design agency
An innovative and creative digital design agency are transitioning from a start up to a more established global firm and they are looking for an experienced and superb HR professional to help navigate and lead them through this process.
It is a hugely exciting time for the company with the rapid growth of their London head office and international reach and as a result this person will be required to implement and manage HR processes from a start-up environment to a global organisation.
This generalist HR role will include supporting the business leadership team on HR issues such as employee relations, performance management, development/change management, culture change and leadership and development.
You must have a good, broad knowledge of employment law, be up to date on UK legislation and commercial best practice, possess experience on how to deal with employee relations, such as disciplinary issues, redundancies, tribunal claims and applications for work permits, and a focus on improving employee experience.
The team are a very driven yet friendly and social bunch with an entrepreneurial spirit. It is an extremely fast paced agency environment, and thus whilst they want someone who is approachable and able to immerse themselves in the heart of the company and its team, they also want someone with bundles of initiative, who is not afraid to challenge and advise the leadership team and seek out new ways to improve the business from an HR perspective.
It is imperative that candidates have experience of working in a start-up or SME environment, where new procedures and processes need to be implemented almost from scratch.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, preferably with a CIPD qualification, proven broad-based experience as an HR manager, super communication skills, attention to detail, and be looking for a fabulous challenge!
