Our North West based client, is looking to recruit a new HR Director to work closely with the Board and drive forward the next stage of their growth across the UK.
This is a values-led service orientated 24/7 organisation whose c1,500 employees are key to its ability to deliver the highest quality care and "service" to its end users.
It has ambitious plans to grow by over 25% year on year, with the majority of this growth being organic.
Reporting into the CEO, a highly regarded industry leader who truly sees the value in hiring and developing people and "gets" the HR agenda, the opportunity for HR to make a real difference to the success of the organisation cannot be over-emphasised.
From a strategic perspective, you will partner the business' leadership team to achieve the organisation's strategic vision. As a senior team, they are clear about its future growth and focused on success. Key to achieving this success, is setting a group wide HR strategy and the development of staff. You'll want to make your mark swiftly!
Leading a small HR team, you will work to drive enhanced performance and develop and shape talent, capability and engagement solutions which will be key to its success. You'll drive the delivery of stretching business plans through the effective strategic management and development of people, resource and talent.
You'll be a highly influential, commercially astute, and credible HR professional. The ideal candidate will be a confident and flexible individual with strong business acumen and have a successful track record in commercial HR business partnering. You will be an excellent relationship builder, have a collegiate mindset and have an exceptional focus on the end delivery.
Whilst specific sector experience is not a pre-requisite, strong candidates will be able to demonstrate a track record of working at pace within fast-paced, service-driven multi-site environments (possibly retail, education, 24/7 care, charities).
This is a multi-site business with a HQ is in the North West. The successful candidate will therefore want to spend 2-3 days a week here, however to maximise success you will want to be out and about, meeting people at the "coal face".
