In recent years, we have made positive improvements in how our staff feel about working at our Trust, how they feel about their contribution, as well as in how valued they feel by their colleagues. Our new Director of Human Resources & Organisational Development will continue to develop a positive culture for NSFT, drive a high level of engagement across our c.4,000 staff, and ensure our purpose and values are demonstrated throughout the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will contribute to a broad corporate portfolio and deliver strategic value to decision making around people matters, and provide proactive, business-focused solutions that are data driven. You will also significantly contribute to plans that will help transform the NHS workforce for a sustainable future in partnership with various stakeholders across our local health and care system.
This is an interesting and challenging role, which requires an exceptional individual with an excellent track record in OD and HR. You will be an established senior leader, having operated at Board level, and will have significant experience of leading complex organisational and workforce change in a multi-professional, multi-stakeholder environment. Your excellent relationship management skills will mean you build credibility quickly and can foster strong alliances both inside the organisation and across a diverse group of external stakeholders. NHS experience is not a requirement for this role, but you must bring a passion for improving our population’s health and well-being.
