Reward Specialist - 12 Months Contract

As a Reward Specialist in Metro Bank, you will support the Director of Reward and People Operations in the delivery of the end-to end Reward offering. You will make sure that our reward and benefits are simple, easy to understand by all colleagues and are applied consistently across Metro Bank.
 
So what would you be doing?...

• Supporting the Director of Reward and People Operations in the day to day management of our pay and benefits
• Managing and improving existing benefit and Reward schemes
• Taking complex written and verbal  information on all things benefits and simplifying it to make it clear for colleagues
• Carrying out job evaluation and salary benchmarking making sure that we remain competitive in the market
• Working closely with both the Recruitment and People Partner teams to support and make decisions  
• Resolving queries and improving processes

And whilst we always aim to train for skill where possible, on this occasion we are looking for someone who is already able to do all these wonderful things...

• Experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of the management and administration of reward and employee benefits, specifically pensions 
• Some understanding of share plans and some experience of managing them would be useful
• Benefits administration experience, including working with third party benefits consultancies/brokers and suppliers
• Knowledge of market pay benchmarking and job levelling 
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in excel, capable of manipulating and presenting data accurately and efficiently using complex formulas, functions and macros
