If you are a talented recruiter currently working at a Senior Recruitment Adviser level or ready to take the step up, now is an exciting time to join the Civil Service and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) as we embark on our next phase of significant growth.
As a Senior Recruitment Adviser, you will be part of a dynamic HR team, responsible for resourcing professionals from a range of backgrounds, including Corporate Services, Legal and Economics. You’ll also recruit to our teams delivering merger decisions, cartel investigations and remedies. Your work will ensure the CMA has the talented workforce needed to promote competition for the benefit of consumers, both within and outside the UK, which is especially important in the context of EU exit and increasingly digitalised markets.
You will manage your own recruitment campaigns, prioritising vacancies and workloads. Through leading and advise hiring managers and team members on best practice sourcing and process solutions, you’ll deliver an excellent client and candidate experience. You will also be responsible for delivering a programme of improvement projects to ensure the CMA attracts an excellent quality and quantity of recruits.
To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience of working in a client-facing role, devising and delivering quality sourcing solutions for varied and multiple permanent and/or temporary vacancies at pace, and to employment legislative requirements.
You’ll be working in a supportive team and gain a sense of pride in contributing to making a positive impact on consumer issues e.g. the care homes, hotel booking, and energy markets.
