People Analytics is one of the most practical tools for HR professionals, with great potential to have a positive impact within organisations. By identifying the real drivers of workforce behavior and performance, HR professionals can make more effective strategic decisions about the workforce challenges they face.

A recent report by Deloitte Human Capital Trends found that 71% of companies view people analytics as “an urgent priority”, but disturbingly only 22% have analytics capability. Our own experience suggests much of this capability is focused on routine KPI provision, and that many practitioners are still struggling to understand how people analytics can really drive organizational change.
