Hesham Ikhwan bio

As the Group Head of Engagement at Al-Futtaim, Hesham is responsible for designing and implementing an engagement strategy that supports the group’s ambitious growth strategy. He collaborates with business leaders across the group to enhance the employee-customer encounter by elevating the engagement of Al-Futtaim’s 44,000 employees. 

Hesham previously led the Client Service Group of Gallup Europe where he consulted a wide portfolio of FTSE 100 clients across Europe and the Middle East. He combined behavioral economics research with practical advice on how to create more engaged workplaces and customers. 

Hesham holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has worked and lived in the US, Middle East, North American and Europe.
