Huda Al Ghoson bio

Huda Al Ghoson is the executive director of HR at Saudi Aramco, the world’s top exporter of crude oil and natural gas liquids. Since joining the oil giant in 1981, she has held various positions across the company before becoming head of the HR department. In her current role, she is instrumental in attracting and retaining the best talent. 

Huda is responsible for all HRM and HRD programs in the company, including workforce planning, staffing, training and development, retention, employee and retirees services, and legal and labor relations matters to more than 55,000 employees from 80 different nationalities. 

She holds an MBA from the American University of Washington DC, and a BA in English Literature from King Saud University in Riyadh. Huda became the chair of ASHRM in 2014 and is one of Forbes Arabia’s most powerful women in the region.
