Here, Dr Linda Sharkey discusses future talent in the Middle East, the end of command and controlled leadership.

Dr Linda Sharkey bio

Dr Sharkey is an internationally recognised expert on global leadership development and culture transformation. Her specific area of focus is using science and data to underpin her work and assuring alignment to business results and outcomes. She is a noted international keynote speaker and executive coach.

Linda is a recognized author on leadership and talent and most recently co-authored the award winning book Winning with Transglobal Leadership: How to develop and retain top global talent. She has contributed to more than 20 books. Prior to her current consulting practice, she was chief talent officer for Hewlett Packard and held numerous executive human resources positions at GE. Her leadership work at GE was labelled “best practice” by former GE CEO, Jack Welch.

Currently, Linda is a founding member of the Marshall Goldsmith Group, a pre-eminent executive coaching firm, and a radio show host on World Talk Radio, Voice America Business Channel. She received her PhD with honors from Benedictine.
