On behalf of the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM), it is our pleasure to welcome you and your organization to the 13th ASHRM International Conference.
The theme, ‘Beyond HR: the Human Element’, reflects recent regional research by ASHRM which demonstrates that HR practitioners and business leaders have a unique opportunity to transform the success of organizations, countries and the whole region. However, this must begin with the wisdom, maturity and leadership of individuals.
The three day conference at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai will feature accredited workshops, as well as amazing keynote TED-style talks, and thought-provoking panel discussions. Our best ever line up of regional and international keynote speakers includes thought leaders from education, business, academia, science and the sporting world, who will share their ideas for inspiring people, keeping talent motivated, and creating and leading world-class teams and businesses.
Our vision for the conference is to offer the opportunity for business leaders, company executives, HR practitioners, managers, and all those responsible for driving business performance by maximizing human performance, to gain knowledge, share insights, network and learn.
The conference also marks the 25th anniversary of ASHRM. Over this period, we’ve established ASHRM as the ‘regional voice of HR’ in the Middle East, taking a lead in developing HR professionals across the GCC. I’m proud to serve as President and would like to thank all my predecessors for their hard work and dedication in developing the function and its people.
