LondonWaste is a public private partnership. The Company is half owned by the North London Waste Authority (NLWA), whose main function is to arrange the disposal of waste from within its seven constituent London Boroughs. The other 50% shareholder is the waste management company SITA UK.

LondonWaste provides waste disposal services for the NLWA (covering the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest). We also handle commercial, confidential, green and clinical waste for a range of customers including businesses, hospitals and non-profit organisations.

Since its formation in 1994, LondonWaste has developed into one of the largest waste management companies of its kind, handling over 1 million tonnes of waste a year. Based at Edmonton in North London, we also have 8 other smaller sites (Hornsey Street, Hendon, Chase Farm, Malmesbury, Platt, Rochester, Stafford and Waterdale) and employ over 330 members pf staff.

We offer a broad range of services to our clients including recycling, composting waste treatment and disposal.
