Language Ambassador

As a professional organisation in the recruitment sector, we consider it our responsibility to make a positive contribution to society, and we know how important languages are to the business world. That is why Euro London Appointments decided to partner with CILT – The National Centre for Languages, to become a champion in promoting the importance of language learning for the young people of the UK.  We have been working closely with a range of organisations to promote language learning and highlight just how many doors knowing a language can open:

Our CSR

As a recruitment consultancy, Euro London Appointments provides a service rather than manufacturing a product which means that happily our impact on the environment is relatively small.  However we recognise the case for businesses to contribute to sustainable development goals and understand the benefits of reducing the consumption of natural resources. Consequently, we make extensive use of recycling initiatives for paper, plastic, cans, glass, printer cartridges and mobile phones.  Employees are also encouraged to power down PCs when not in use.

Working for Euro London

We have ambitious expansion plans which will take us into new international markets and sectors – could you be part of these plans?

As a recruitment consultant with Euro London the world can truly be your oyster.  Our growing network of international offices means that we can offer exceptional travel and career development opportunities.

Whether you are an experienced recruiter or new to the industry, Euro London could be the right choice for you. You will have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of international markets; dealing with colleagues, candidates and clients from around the globe and actively using your languages on a daily basis. In addition, a competitive salary, structured training and career programme and supportive team environment are just some of the benefits a career with Euro London can offer.

What our consultants say

Here are some of our consultants talking about working for Euro London:

"I joined Euro London a year and a half ago, after living in Ireland for several months and traveling around Europe. The international opportunity appealed to me, as did the chance to use my language degree and to start a career. I speak both English and German every day and occasionally some Italian. Recruitment is a mixture of account management, HR, admin, client relationship management, business development and networking - name me another job that involves all of that?! I like the non-authoritative management style here at Euro London and the fact that people listen to my ideas, as well as the freedom I am given to do business the way I feel works best. I have been given the responsibility of setting up the accountancy division here in Frankfurt, which has been great."

Recruitment Consultant - Frankfurt office

"I have been working at Euro London since January 2005 after working in event management and as a temporary’s consultant. Euro London was the only company in which I could genuinely apply my language skills, fulfill my career ambitions and be part of a growing business. I am a native German speaker and use my German skills almost daily to assess candidates’ language abilities and occasionally to talk to clients who are German. Initially, I joined as a consultant to start up the northern UK division and after 12 months I was promoted to Assistant Manager as we hired our first additional team member for this division. After 15 months, we opened our office in Manchester and consequently I was promoted to Branch Office Manager. Euro London is truly unique in service offering and genuinely believes in its consultants as the main driver of the business. It is also one of the few companies that will genuinely allow consultants to present their own career ambitions and ideas and if appropriate, assist individuals in making these ideas a reality, regardless of whether a consultant wants to establish themselves in an existing territory, expand into a new geographical area or open up a new business division. Recruitment in general involves so many aspects of sales, servicing, administration and research that no day is ever the same. Equally, every candidate and client is different. It’s great to help somebody finding a job they really enjoy and as a pretty fast paced role, it’s never boring!"

Manchester office

"Working for Euro London appealed to me, as it seemed like an excellent opportunity to develop a sales career outside the hospitality industry, in which I had previously worked. The location was ideal for me, there was great earning potential and I thoroughly enjoyed my interviews with the different people from Euro London. I have now been working here since September 2005 and I like the teamwork, opportunity for development, constant training, investment in staff and the fact that success is praised and rewarded. Every day is different in recruitment, and this combined with the constant contact with people makes it an enjoyable career. I have been able to progress a lot since joining the Euro London team. I changed divisions twice within the first few months, moving into Executive recruitment. I was very successful there and got promoted to Assistant Manager 'in training' by the last quarter of 2006. I was put in charge of the Sales, Marketing and Executive team and also took over the responsibility for the Secretarial & Admin team. If I speak to German native speakers, it’s great to be able to use my English to ensure that their language ability is up to scratch."
