Work Description
  • Global Software business (1,300 UK, 51,500 Global employees). Held operational responsibility for c.250 Business Objects employees in Support, IT and regional sales.
  • Successfully supported the UK acquisition of Business Objects into SAP (450 people). Project-managed the successful acquisition of one small software business and the TUPE out of a small team (20 and 5 employees respectively). Coached HR colleagues in acquisition.
  • Added HR stability at a time when the SAP HR team was almost entirely replaced. Advisor activities were migrated to the SAP HR Operations team in the UK and Prague.
  • Successfully project managed re-brokering process to identify and select Pension and benefits providers for SAP UK going forward. HR ‘guru’ on aspects of SAP HRIS.
  • Performance management ‘cases for concern’ 100% resolved in supported business areas.
  • Primary appeal facilitator for cases & ET claims arising from significant redundancy activities.
  • Broad HR expertise applied ranging from Talent Management to Benefits Harmonisation.
  • Coached new permanent HR recruits and both Senior and Line Managers in a range of HR and management disciplines. Maintained a close commercial relationship with Unit leaders.
  • Facilitated the Business Objects Employee Consultative Forum for SAP.
