Tuesday 25th December - All employees should obtain a doctor's certificate for sickness lasting longer than seven days.
Wednesday 26th December - During interviews take care to avoid personal issues that might infringe a candidate's right to privacy.
Thursday 27th December - Try to encourage staff to make health-related appointments at the end or beginning of the day to minimise disruption. Suggest part-time staff make appointments on non-working days.
Friday 28th December - When inducting a new employee, take into account their experience and tailor the induction as appropriate.
