Chris Phillips

Chris Phillips is vice president of international marketing, at talent management company, Taleo. In this role, Mr Phillips is responsible for product marketing, product management and marketing communications throughout Europe and Asia.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Mr. Phillips brings more than 17 years of marketing leadership experience in the IT industry, having worked in several senior marketing director roles worldwide.

Most recently, Mr Phillips was chief marketing officer at Staffware plc, a market-leading provider of business process management solutions, where he led a global marketing organisation of more than 40 people. Prior to that, he held EMEA marketing director positions at Commerce One and Vitria Technology, where he helped establish both as leaders in the European marketplace. He spent the first 10 years of his career at IBM, where he became IBM’s EMEA marketing director, eBusiness Solutions. Here he was responsible for marketing all of IBM’s internet/e-commerce, CRM, workflow and collaboration products.

Alice Snell

Alice Snell is vice president of Taleo Research, a division of Taleo (www.taleo.com). Taleo delivers on demand talent management solutions to companies worldwide.

Ms. Snell has been tracking and analysing the intersection between technology and talent management for more than a decade. She published The Job-Seeker's Guide to On-Line Resources in 1994 and has authored numerous articles and reports on talent management technology and processes, including; Hidden ROI of Talent Acquisition and Mobility, Quality of Hire, Internal Mobility, Turning Analytics into Action, Corporate Careers Site Value Creation, Social Networks and Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Jobseeker surveys.

Ms. Snell is frequently called upon to provide expert commentary on talent management issues and is quoted in leading media including The Boston Globe, CNN Money, Chief Executive, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, CNBC.com, and Investor’s Business Daily.

Prior to joining Taleo, Ms. Snell was a senior analyst at Kennedy Information. Ms. Snell holds a Master of Science degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Brandeis University.

Al Campa

Mr. Campa serves as chief marketing officer, responsible for the global direction of Taleo marketing strategy, brand management, corporate communications, demand generation, and product marketing. Mr. Campa has been a technology executive and entrepreneur for more than 20 years, establishing leadership in the business analytics, open source, and enterprise software markets.

Prior to joining Taleo, he was the founder and CEO at JasperSoft which led the creation of the open source business intelligence market, and he was part of the founding team at Bravanta, an on-demand provider of enterprise incentive and recognition applications. Mr. Campa has also served as vice president of Marketing at Actuate, where he helped drive the company from a start-up to a public company, and he was also an integral part of the management teams at Sybase and Sun Microsystems.

Mr. Campa started his career at IBM after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Jamie Barber

Jamie Barber is a Senior Implementation Consultant in the Professional Services Team for Taleo, the leading providers of HR and e-recruitment solutions. Working closely with clients, he is tasked with ensuring the smooth transition from legacy systems through to delivery of the Taleo suite of products. He manages and co-ordinates such key areas as project management, requirements definition and business process improvement as well as final system implementation. Jamie has worked with a wide range of large blue-chip companies as well as smaller organizations, both within the UK and further afield, including HSBC, Sony Ericsson, Yahoo and UEFA.

Prior to joining Taleo (Vurv), Jamie spent a number of years as a Consultant for an e-recruitment provider based in Scotland. He also has extensive experience in the recruitment industry - in both the permanent and temporary fields - gained with the UK’s largest provider of financial and accounting staff. As well as a BA in modern languages (specializing in French) from the University of Southampton, Jamie holds an MSc (with distinction) in Information Systems Management from the University of Stirling.

Claire Grove

Claire Grove is a senior marketing manager at Taleo, and holds responsibility for marketing programmes, communications and demand generation in the UK. Her experience of working closely with customers and industry experts has given her a real understanding of common challenges faced in the industry. A particular interest is in how technology aids employee performance and retention.

Before joining Taleo, Claire held several global marketing roles at companies including Siemens Enterprise Communications and TIBCO Software. She is a CIM Affiliated Professional.
