Emma advises on all aspects of employment law, including race, sex and disability discrimination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, restrictive covenants, protecting confidential information and claims under TUPE. She has experience in advising on large scale redundancy programmes, obtaining interim injunctions and negotiating and drafting termination agreements between employees and employers.
Emma joined Speechly Bircham in 2001 from Wallace & Partners, where she had trained. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1999. Prior to this she had worked at Eagle Star Staff Union as an employment law adviser. Emma obtained her law degree from Cardiff University.
