Alistair is Managing Director of recruitment consultancy FreshMinds Talent. He overseas a team of 30 and is responsible for every aspect of FreshMinds’ recruitment arm. As Managing Director, Alistair is focused on growing the business and making the company increasingly consultative in its offering to clients. Alistair is particularly interested in issues around talent management and understanding the organisational and management challenges “generation Y” presents to the workplace.

Before joining FreshMinds he was Deputy Managing Director of Datamonitor’s Technology Practice. In a period spanning 9 years, Alistair has worked across a wealth of different technology and market sectors. He has delivered presentations and training courses in Europe, the US and Asia. Prior to Datamonitor, Alistair was with the Thomson Corporation, where he worked in a variety of consulting and management roles.

Alistair has a degree in Natural Sciences and a post-graduate degree in the History and Philosophy of Science from Cambridge University. He has an overly competitive spirit and likes anything that involves sport, the outdoors and risk of serious injury.
