Skyguide and Frederic Sudan, the company’s Head of Human Resources and a Member of Executive Management, have mutually agreed to put an end to their collaboration at the end of December 2007. This decision is due to differences of opinion on certain business matters and over the general role of the skyguide HR department. "I would like to thank Frederic Sudan for all he has done for our company and for his strong personal dedication to its interests and concerns," says skyguide CEO Daniel Weder. "Our discussions over the last few weeks have shown, however, that we hold different views on certain issues, and that a parting of the ways is the best course of action for both parties." Frederic Sudan assumed his position as Head of Human Resources at skyguide on November 1, 2005. Following his departure, his duties will be assumed by Francois Mouchet, his present deputy, until a permanent solution for the succession is found.
Skyguide is responsible for the provision of air navigation services within Swiss airspace and in the airspace of certain adjoining regions in neighbouring countries. Skyguide is a non-profit, limited company under private law. The majority of its shares are held by the Swiss Confederation. The annual turnover of the company exceeds 341 million Swiss francs. Skyguide employs some 1400 people at 14 locations in Switzerland.
