National Bank of Abu Dhabi
(NBAD) has announced the appointment
of Ehab Anis Abdulla Hassan as head of its Human Resources Group (HRG).
Mr. Hassan, a UAE national, graduated from Pacific University, USA,
with a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Hull
University, UK. He has a wealth of experience gained from high level
positions held during 18 years in banking and oil and gas sectors.
In his new role as head of NBAD’s Human Resources Group, Mr. Hassan
will be responsible of meeting the ever- expanding and specialized
demands in this field by attracting, developing and retaining the best,
more talented and committed human assets who wish to work in a
rewarding and challenging environment.
Commenting on Hassan’s appointment, Mr. Abdulla Mohamed Saleh Abdul
Raheem, senior general manager and chief operating officer, NBAD said:
“The appointment of Mr. Hassan comes in accordance with NBAD´s policy
of Emiratization and its continuous efforts to ensure progress of
national cadres. Our firm commitment to increase the proportion of our
UAE staff was demonstrated by hiring 171 UAE national during 2006
bringing the Emiratization rate at NBAD to nearly 30%”.
“During the last few years, NBAD’s Human Resources Group has managed to
attract and retain best cadres in the industry, which witness a strong
competition, by motivating and rewarding top performers who constantly
strive to enhance the business and provide best services to our
esteemed customers. Having a thorough knowledge of human resources and
business administration in addition to extensive banking background,
Hassan is the suitable person to handle this challenging job” he added.
Ehab Anis Abdulla Hassan, Head of Human Resources Group, NBAD said:
