In 2008, Oracle is scheduled to release Oracle Fusion Applications which is a single applications product line that Oracle expects will combine the best functionality from all of its current product lines. This is expected to create significant demand from users and a highly competitive market for qualified integrators and consultants. Through this acquisition, Deloitte Consulting will position itself as a leading provider of consulting services to this new market.
