Jackie Lanham has recently been appointed to Director of Learning and Development for Norwich Union. In this relatively new role Jackie is leading the transformation of L&D Service provision. Learning and Development has been re-organised and consolidated to provide a consistent service to all Norwich Union businesses, curricula are undergoing rationalisation and new business led capability Academies are well under development.
Investment has gone into technology to develop a Learning Management System giving easy access to learning and development solutions and increasing the scope to deliver e learning and self managed development. At the same time this 250 person Learning and Development team is responsible for the delivery of training solutions to joint venture and corporate partnerships.
Jackie joined Norwich Union in 2001 and has been a key player in shaping, developing and implementing centralised shared services. Before her current role she has held Director Positions within Norwich Union for both HR Shared Services and HR Change and Consultancy.
She was also responsible for Norwich Union’s early adoption of an e recruitment strategy leading to improved service delivery and reduced costs.
In the eleven years preceding Norwich Union she worked for JP Morgan Chase in a variety of EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) HR Business Partner roles, gaining a wide range of experience on an international basis particularly in mergers and acquisitions, organisation design and coaching of senior leaders.
