Careers advice on the move - new generation job seekers rely on their iPods

iPods are playing a key role in attracting ‘millennial’ candidates according to recruitment consultancy, Badenoch & Clark.

In an era where technology savvy candidates don’t want to unnecessarily scour the Internet for advice, the consultancy has become the first to launch a series of podcasts to allow their candidates to benefit from ‘recruitment advice on the move’. The different topics are updated weekly and cover everything from ‘What do you want?’ to ‘Writing your CV’ to ‘Shine in your new role’. They are available on iTunes or by direct download for candidates to listen to on their MP3 players at their convenience.

A selection of podcasts are:

1 - What do you want?
2 - What are you worth?
3 - Negotiating your salary
4 - Writing your CV
5 - How to use a recruitment consultancy
6 - Staying motivated during your search
7 - Interview techniques
8 - Assessment & Testing
9 - Assessing a job offer
10 - How to resign
11 - Shine in your new role
