HR Salary Survey 2006/2007, Joslin Rowe

• Permanent HR generalists are in demand across all levels – from administrators to senior managers / business partners.

• There has been a notable surge in the number of financial institutions and corporates hiring talent specialists into leadership and development roles.

• Roles within graduate recruitment are also increasing.

• Salaries have significantly improved especially for HR generalists who are securing 10-20% increments on their current salary when moving roles.

• HR professionals are also benefiting from guaranteed bonuses/bonus buy backs.

• A lack of temporary HR candidates has caused a sharp increase in temporary rates.

• The shortage in high calibre candidates has resulted in temporaries with relevant experience receiving multiple offers. This has also been a contributing factor to the increase in rates.

• Clients have become more flexible in considering overseas candidates with no UK experience for temporary roles.
