Weighing up your options

However, with an estimated six students trying for every spare university space, for those who were unable to gain the Results they needed for university, or for anyone who has decided they cannot justify the expenses of university, a number of tough decisions lay ahead; first of which being “what now?”

Role models

It is not uncommon to opt away from further education for one reason or another; in today’s popular culture, figures such as Sir Alan Sugar and Duncan Bannatyne are both self-made multi-millionaires who decided they wouldn’t further their education and instead joined the working world straight from school.

Assess your options

For anyone who has decided against university, in UK and Ireland offers the following advice for anyone assessing their options other than further education.
