Clownfish, the global full service sustainability and communications consultancy, has been appointed to develop and implement the UK brand communications strategy for greentomatocars, the greenest private hire service in London

Clownfish wins greentomatocars account

greentomatocars became the first exclusively environmentally friendly private hire service in London, when it launched its operations in March 2006. It now counts 100 Toyota Prius in its fleet, which operates 24/7 across London and the Home Counties. By using the greenest car on the market and double funding offsetting projects to make up for unavoidable emissions, greentomatocars does the least damage to the environment when getting customers from A to B, at no extra cost.

Commenting on the appointment, Becky Willan, head of strategy at Clownfish, said: “We are delighted to work with greentomatocars, a brand that very much embodies the environmental and social philosophy we espouse. As consumer interest in environmental issues continues to rise, greentomatocars offers an affordable way to live a little greener without compromising on quality.”

Clownfish have rapidly expanded over the last year and a half and have opened offices in New York, Shanghai and Milan.
