What does the Compensation and Benefts Analyst/Advisor do?
Reporting to the Reward Manager/Head of Reward, this role has key responsibility for managing day-to-day activity within the Comp & Bens team, as well as supporting on annual processes and ad hoc projects.
Compensation and Benefits Analyst/Advisor - responsibilities/accountabilities:
- Salary and benefit against internal and external market
- Reporting on identified salary and benefits surveys as necessary
- Supporting annual salary review process
- Bonus planning, design, review and administration
- Annual stock allocation and planning
- Support on international employee relocation
- Support as necessary for the day to day operation of the UK Benefits portfolio, working with third party benefit suppliers on issues such as healthcare, pensions, company cars and risk benefits.
- Acting as internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a compensation & benefits impact involving interaction with staff at all levels from administration staff to senior business leaders
Compensation and Benefits Analyst/Advisor - skills/essentials:
- Past proven compensation and benefits experience within a commercial organisation including salary surveys, salary reviews, bonuses and management of benefits
- Strong numerical and analytical skills is a necessity
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of IT literacy and use of Microsoft office packages would be an advantage
- A proficiency in/experience using HR Information Systems (SAP or PeopleSoft) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of compensation & benefits reporting tools
- Enthusiastic team player
- Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for work load
- Ability to work in a complex challenging and sensitive environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Self starter
- Analytical mind
- Aptitude for numbers
